Wholly Cow, LLC is a local, family and veteran-owned ice cream company proudly rooted in Charleston, South Carolina since 1984. We handcraft small-batch ice cream and sorbets and deliver them to some of the best restaurants, hotels, and retail shops across the Lowcountry. We work hard, have fun, and yes — we love ice cream. About This Role
This is a part-time position — lighter hours during the fall and winter season, with increased hours through the busy spring and summer. A great fit for someone looking for flexible, meaningful part-time work with a great local team.
What You'll Do
- Drive one of our Wholly Cow non-CDL delivery vehicles on established routes throughout the local Charleston area and parts of South Carolina
- Pick and load vehicles with ice cream product prior to each delivery
- Deliver product to restaurants, hotels, and retail shops — representing Wholly Cow with professionalism and a smile
- Manage and stock inventory in our freezer and warehouse
- Assist with receiving deliveries and putting product away at the warehouse
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and tidy — mopping and cleaning included
- Assist with additional duties as needed
Schedule
Typically 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM / Noon, with some flexibility, a couple of days per week depending on delivery routes and demand.
What We're Looking For
- Valid South Carolina Driver's License with a clean driving history — required
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude
- Willingness to work hard and enjoy what you do (ice cream helps!)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet on a variety of surfaces
- Comfortable working in a walk-in freezer and delivering in summer heat
- Some forklift and pallet jack use — experience a plus, but we will train the right person
